At Taimako, we are looking a various ways of integrating the youth in our project schemes. This constitutes part of our efforts to promote an inclusive society as this is of high priority to us. As embedded in the SDGs, Target 4.6), we look to bring significant change to the youth of rural communities. This behavioral impact reimagines the prospects available to upcoming generations in these marginalized populations with the hopes of re-orienting and inculcating better ways to live, work and co-exist in society.

Why Support Behavioral Impact?

In identifying feasible solutions to pressing issues, we at Taimako aim for lasting impacts that span multiple generations. Behavioral Impact is an important place to start since it provides an avenue for human-to-human interaction. Our interventions not only look to impart knowledge unto the marginalized demographic, but also re-orient their thought process in aspects of life, work and human existence. In effectively doing so, our work is passed down to the next generation, giving them an improved perspective on what is achievable.

Human-to-human interaction is vital to making significant impact in communities with high marginalization

An opportunity to narrow the vast gap between the marginalized and the mainstream employment sector.

In most traditional Ghanaian setups, women are still not allowed to partake in domestic and communal decision-making.
