Description
This cloth was sewed in Bonwire by James Ametepe. He is a 75-year-old widower trying to make ends meet because of little work available in his community. With the prices of commodities shooting up James resorted to weaving kente which he learnt years ago. He continued to weave when Taimako came across him on a trip into his community. His kente is rich with natural emblems and sigils that are reminiscent our cultures. He is willing to sow kente clothing for whomever and is excited to have his kente worn by many all over Ghana and beyond.
Let us patronise James’ kente. Let us patronize made in Ghana kente.
