The corona virus continues to pose threats to countries on the global scale. Halting commuting and crippling economies. The threat the disease brings should not be underestimated. Communities in Ghana still find themselves susceptible to the disease solely due to limited information outlets on the disease and the inability for individuals to afford protection against the disease. In an attempt to prevent the mass contraction of the disease and its associated rippling effects, Taimako seeks to distribute COVID-19 essentials to vulnerable communities. These communities are characterized with young and aged population demographics, as they are most susceptible and likely to contract and spread the disease. In this respect, Taimako will look to play their part in protecting vital human resource and the rural economy from the threat the disease poses. Articles distributed will include hand sanitizers, face masks, Veronica buckets, liquid soap, wipes and tissues among others. The success of this initiative has the potential to save the lives of millions in the uncertain times we find ourselves in.
