Why Taimako Box?
In line with fostering the dreams of children, we have propounded the Taimako Box, a programme aimed at providing support for children from poor and marginalized communities through gifting. All individuals regardless the age, can request for a Taimako box, fill it with goodies and get it delivered to a marginalised child, our own small way of sending love and warmth to our young children
What can I put in the box?
Educational books and novels, clothes, sweets, hygiene and COVID-19 essentials, stationery etc
we have a list of gender and age appropriate gift recommendations for you to choose from. Request for one of our boxes, select your preferred gender and age category and follow the instructional manual. It’s as easy as that
What are the steps?
- Visit www.taimako.org to request for the box
- Enter your details in the fields provided
- A box will be dispatched to you within 48hrs
- Follow our instructional manual to assemble your Taimako Box
- From this point a dedicated Taimako volunteer will be in constant contact with you to check on your progress
- Follow our instructional manual to select gender and age categories
- Stock the box with your gift choices
- Add your personalized message to the lucky child
- Call Taimako to pick up your Box.
How much do I pay?
Requesting for the Taimako Box is absolutely free, however in returning the filled box, include a donation of Ghc10.00 to cover the cost of shipping to the final recipient
