The situation in the rural farming space epitomizes the inability for a sector to keep up with modern times. The overwhelming majority of rural farmers rely on rudimentary farm tools and equipment, this cannot be neglected. The reluctance of rural farmers to keep up with the times is one which reflects on their farming techniques and methods. To keep in touch with ever-changing technology, Taimako looks to utilize the tool orientation seminar to introduce rural farmers to appropriate technologies used in the farming sectors. These technologies bring the prospect of simplifying farm practices. Additionally, bringing appropriate farms tools to the fold greatly maximizes effort and labour efforts. This provides an enticing prospect to sway rural farmers from their archaic methods.
In line with Taimako’s vision in ensuring sustainability across all focus areas, these new farm technologies introduced to farmers are key to reducing the damage the natural environment is subjected to. This initiative we aim to ensure rural farmers have the necessary know-how in using appropriate agro-technologies and also ensuring their techniques are up to standard in pushing for efficiency and maximizing yield margins.
