It is no hidden secret that girls grow up lacking the requisite information to transition smoothly into adulthood. Majority of girls and young women in rural setups have the unfortunate experience of having first-hand exposure to ignorance. They grow into young women still lacking the basics of personal hygiene and female reproductive health matters that is expected of them. In Taimako, one is assured of social inclusion, breaking down the walls of marginalization. We aim to bring women to the table, allowing them to express and discuss their issues.
At the grassroots, we look to educate them on the needed information they require in transitioning successfully into adulthood. The Taimako Foundation looks to break the hoodoo that girls and women for that matter belong in the kitchen. We look to broaden the horizons of what lay in store for young and upcoming women. The wide variety of opportunities available with respect to career paths and life in general the necessary steps to take to get to those heights.
